Timeline

May 30, 2008 22:26 by Chris Smith

I wonder how you code the way you experience time, specifically, where do you 'see' your past memories?  Where do you see your future memories?  Are your past memories behind you or are they over to the right or left?  Is your future directly in front of you or is it up to the left or down to the right or anywhere in between?  You can test it for yourself by closing your eyes and thinking about something you did in the past, where do you see it?  Now pick something else in the past, where do you see that?  Are they roughly in the same place?  Now think about something in the future, something that is yet to happen, where do you see that one?  Test it again.  Now think about something that you really want and notice where it is on your future timeline.  It may not be there as yet.  Getting things onto your timeline is a great component of NLP to get things done.  Just like anything we do in life, we mentally rehearse it in some way before actually doing it.  Now as your mind does not much care if your experiences are real or imagined, you can put the very thing you have been wanting to do into your 'remembered future' as though it has already happened.  The results are amazing.  This is day 8 of the 9 day Master NLP Track with Paul McKenna Training.  The last 8 days have been phenomenal. If you want to learn about NLP, make sure that you get on a programme that is run by Richard Bandler and John LaValle.  You won't see Paul again anytime soon on NLP training here in the UK as he is moving to LA.  It has been a privilege to participate in his last training, the man is a genius.  More tomorrow from the final day of the Master Track.
